He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joann; his sons, Art, Bill (Tara) and Mike Jr. (Laura); his sister Joan Fraser; his niece Bev Irvine (Den McGinnis); his stepchildren, Laura (Mike Jr.), Randy Miron (Trish) and Adele Garofano (Mark); his grandchildren, Kris Henry, Ken Thompson Kyla Shelefontiuk (Jason), Kris Heckert (Tash), Jena Rostas (Jason), Jesse Kirbyson (Jeremy), Katrina Dobson (Andrew), Mike Thompson III (Rhea), Jessica and Brent Thompson; his great grandchildren, Rhiannon Henry (Dylan), Tyra Henry, Bradley, Kolton Thompson, Nathan Heckert, Lira Llarena, Holly Ross, Kinslee, Presley Heckert, Ruby, Evie Rostas, Jeff, Jordan Kirbyson, Aydian, Ashton Dobson and Karsyn Samson; and his great great grandchild Carter Speidel.
