With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michiko Young in Nanaimo, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michiko has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her husband David Young; her children, Christopher Young Denise (Karen Young) and Terry Hurst (Chris Hurst); and her grandchildren, Byron, Camron, Kristin, Colleen, Emiko and Naomi.
