He was predeceased by: his son Ian. He is survived by: his wife Maisie; his children, Jane (Brian Saunders), Alastair (Susan) and Heather; his daughter-in-law Anita; and his sister-in-law Sheila Bruce. He is also survived by brother Frank's relatives, which includes his two nieces and one great niece.
