Mercedes Francis (Peggy) Gilbert Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mercedes Francis (Peggy) Gilbert (Nanaimo, British Columbia), born in Port Alberni, British Columbia, who passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Renwick and Gilbert Renwick; and her brother David (Sheila). She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, Anne Cappus (Dave), Susanne Burns (Jeffrey) and David Gilbert (Jackie); her grandchildren, Leanne Pinder, Michael Cappus, Nicholas, Mackenzie Burns and Valerie Gilbert; and her great grandchildren, Violet and Maverick. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
