She was predeceased by: her husband Johannes Thyssen; her parents, Maria Nieuwenhoven and Jan van Nieuwenhoven; and her siblings, Harry, Leo and Willy. She is also survived by her six children and their spouses, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
