With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lilwen Kolodychuk of Nanaimo, British Columbia, who passed away on August 2, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lois Spittle and Owen Spittle; her brother Kenneth; her children, Jacqueline, Victoria and Michael; her husband Leo Kolodychuk; her stepdaughters, Dee Dee (Shawn) and Holly (Wayne); her grandchildren, Jeremy Hodson (Trisha), Justine, Jamie, Jessie Breingan (Jessica), Jan Van Herwaarden (Nicole), Daniel, Caden Hodson, Nathaniel Meir (Jody), Katrina Gerling (Joshu), Dakota, Alexander (Katie), Shanda, Dayton, Grace and Sophia; and her great grandchildren, Christian, Madyson, Amiyah, Wynn, Lenora, Owen, Elliana, Koen, Gia, Orie, Daxon, Rowan, Kane, Joshua, Breanna, Isaiah, Nate and Jethro. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a wonderful husband.
