Karen Hellmann Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Hellmann of Nanaimo, British Columbia, born in Dryden, Ontario, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Gonske and Mary Gonske; her siblings, Verna and Norman; and her daughter Melissa.

She is survived by: her significant other Mike Hellmann; her sons, Travis Derouin and Adam Derouin; and her grandsons, Brayden and Justin. She is also survived by four brothers and three sisters as well as in laws, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
