He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Karolina; and his sister Anne Yedinak. He is survived by: his wife Lise; his children, Lori and Greg; and his nieces and nephews, Robert Yedinak, Tanya Rumo and Ryan Rumo.
Born in Timmins, Ontario, John died at the age of 81 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital with his family by his side, after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19.
