He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Shelley Parussini (Derek), Angie LaPointe (Bill) and John Dikken Ladysmith (Trish); his grandchildren, Sara, Joe, Anna (Jon) and Jason; his great grandchildren, Jaxen of Nanaimo and Brodie of Nanaimo; his sisters, Minnie Beaman (Jim) and Cerrie Mace (Graham); and his brother-in-law Bruce Shier (Sheila). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
