He is survived by: his wife Yvette; his son Pierre Junior (Laurie); his grandchildren, Nathan and Michelle; and his siblings, Marc (Marc), Rejean (Monique), Carol (Marielle), Dorothy and Mariette (Jean Claude).

Jean-Pierre Legrand passed away peacefully in the Nanaimo Hospital June 23, 2018 at 77 years old from Alzheimer's.
