With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Victoria Simpson in Nanaimo, British Columbia, born in Oshawa, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Kingdon of Peterborough and Margaret Seabrooke of Peterborough; and her daughter Norine "Rene" Karen Collins (Jason) of Chicago Illinois. She is survived by: her husband Leander Burton Simpson of Nanaimo; her daughters, Anne Maureen Simpson (Mark Asper) and Carol Lynn Barich (Jay Barich) of Nanaimo; and her grandchildren, Danielle of Paris France, Lee of Toronto and Sean of Nanaimo.
