He was predeceased by: his wife Fay; his son Stephen; and his siblings, Carl, Greta, Sonja and Pat.
He is survived by: his children, Katie, Mark (Tracey) and Mike (Naomi); his granddaughter Julianna; his sister Eleanor; and his friends, Arlene, Gary and Audrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sands Funeral Home (1 Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo, BC V9S4H6). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens (2347 Cedar Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9X1J7). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sands Funeral Home (1 Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo, BC V9S4H6).
