He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim Mace and Pat Mace; his wife Cerrie; his sons, Scott (Teresa), Neil (Dina) and Dean (Dana); his grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Kaia, Kiyomi, Kyson and Kynley; and his siblings, Bob (Lynn), Tish (Nick), Greg (Drew), John (Tausha) and Doug (Karen). He was also cherished by many in-laws, nieces and nephews, lifelong friends and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Children's Hospital Foundation or the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
