Hazel Lynn Merchant Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Lynn Merchant (Nanaimo, British Columbia), who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Patrick and Cyril Patrick; her sisters, Joyce and Betty of Victoria, BC; and her pet Scout.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert (Bob) and Barb; her former husband Keith Custance; her daughters, Patti (Kieran), Sandy and Sue (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Josh, Blaike, Kayla, Karly, Lane, Derek and Tate. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
We would also like to thank Bishop Caleb Lawrence, for his compassionate visit to our Mom (and us) on the evening before she passed, much gratitude.
