It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Simich in Nanaimo, British Columbia, born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doreen Best and George Simich. He is survived by: his sisters, Eva Schlussel (Ben) of Ottawa, Debbie Simich-Sine of Belleville and Marie Young of Ottawa; and his nieces, Rachel Blencowe, Jennifer Doiron and Michelle Sine.
Due to COVID restrictions a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
