He is survived by: his children, Jennifer, Jason (Kathleen), Tasha (Florent) and Sean (Charlene); his grandchildren, Georgia, Rose and Marius; and his siblings, Marshall, Clarence, Dorothy, Lyle and Jim. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
The pandemic years curtailed his travel plans and restricted him to hikes in the Nanaimo-area searching for fossils or enjoying the peace at Piper's Lagoon.
