As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Clifford Gilbert Vernon may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Parker Hobbis and Hilda Hobbis; and his significant other Mary Esther Hobbis. He was also cherished by children, spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As his family, to honour Cliff we would ask that in lieu of flowers that all donations be made to the "Let Me Be Me Foundation." of Nanaimo, BC.
