It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clare Jean McCarthy of Nanaimo, British Columbia, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her siblings, David, Lorraine, Lucille, Arthur and Evelyn; her children, David, Moira and Craig; her grandchildren, Claire, Cameron and Aiden; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Maverick and Lawrence; her husband Joseph McCarthy; and also Brian (Del).
