It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Blair Doré of Nanaimo, British Columbia, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Blair Doré to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Doré and Annette Doré; and his brother Joseph (Betty Heck). He is survived by: his mother-in-law Thérèse Charest of St Albert; his sons, Joel, Guy (Chris Watson), Marc (Huguette Grenier) and Alain (Pascale Allard); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Dom Lattanzio), Jordan, Dania (Joel Kneller), Christopher, Sarah (Isabelle Irvine), Max and Jacqueline; his great grandchildren, Callum and Henry; and his sisters, Thérèse Renshaw (Dave) of Sidney, BC, Loraine Thomas (Charles) of Kamsack, SK and Georgette Girard (Clem) of Vernon, BC.. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

For now, due to Covid, the immediate family will honour Blair with a small gathering at home.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made on Blair's behalf to the BC Cancer Foundation.

“To the family of Monsieur Doré, I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was my incredible seventh grade teacher at Pauline Haarer back in 1983. I remember how he was always dressed in a smart grey suit and tie each day. He was the kind of teacher who had high expectations of his students yet had the most caring heart and wonderful laugh as well. He was very supportive of my violin playing/career throughout the years. Sending my condolences to your entire family. With love, Kayo Miki”
