She was predeceased by: her daughter Samantha Lindsay. She is survived by: her daughters, Roberta Merlin McIntosh, Andrea Lee McIntosh (Diane Gall) and Rhonda Mary McIntosh (Ian Webster); her grandson Benjamin Butcher; her great grandchildren, Marshall and Riley Butcher; her sister Lindsay Wallace Fauquier; and her nieces, Sarah Marsten and Emma Fauquier.

“I didn't know how to reach to the family.... I'm very sorry to hear Merlin's passing. I'm sorry I didn't know. She taught us sketching at NACL. She was very energetic and fun. She taught me life. She cared about me as I was going through my divorce and such. I was meaning to call her during this Covid time , many times.. I regret that I never actually did. We appreciated our time in the class. She was a great teacher. I miss Merlin. Rie Coffey from NACL”
