It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Slizak (Nakusp, British Columbia), born in Vernon, British Columbia, who passed away on April 16, 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joe; and his brother-in-law Brian Nixon. He is survived by: his significant other Paula Talbot; his stepdaughters, Rebbecca (Kyle) and Alexandra (Michel); his stepgrandchildren, Leighton, Lillian, Michelyn and Macyn; his mother Margret; his sisters, Kim and Lynn Floyd (Neil); and his aunts, Eileen Burgess (Jim) and Ardyth Speers.
