Robert MacMullin Obituary

After a brave battle with Cancer, Robert John MacMullin passed away on May 23 at the age of 61.

Robert will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Diana; mother Joy; his cat Luna; children, Eric (Christina), Ashleigh and Riley: grandchildren, Real, Scarlett, Jackson and Jonathon; siblings Jim (Arlene), Debbie, John (Maria), Allan (Amber), Steve (Leslie), Scott (Kelly), Donny (Kim) and Danny (Janet); numerous nieces and nephews as well as other family and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Robert had a long career as a Consultant for disease prevention and control for Horticulture, Agriculture, Floriculture, Livestock and Food processing. The last 30 years were with PACE Solutions where he made many lifelong friends. Robert's knowledge of his business was second to none. His passion and dedication for his work were shown when out visiting his customers and helping them whether it be in a greenhouse in the Fraser Valley, a food packing facility in Mexico or a banana plantation in Guatemala.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman. He was happy to be out on his ATV, gold panning for the big nugget, or on his electric bike on the trails.

Robert touched the lives of so many people without even knowing it. Helping those in need whether family, friend or stranger was just what he did. He was a kind, generous and resilient man who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing, loving and being supported by him.

Memorial Contributions may be made to either the Abbotsford Hospital PCC (Palliative Complex Care) Unit, or Chilliwack Hospice Society.

A Celebration of Life is being planned and will reach out to family and friends with details.
