It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Beatrice Patterson of Mission, British Columbia, born in Forestburg, Alberta, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Swaren and Olga Swaren; her husband Arthur Holmes (Pat Patterson); and her siblings, Willard, Floyd, Ed, Vera and Emily.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Holmes (Rita), Tom Holmes (Fran) and Kathy Seto (Al); and her brother Howard Swaren (Leona). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
