Myrtle Prescott Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Prescott (Merritt, British Columbia), who passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Trevor Yuros; her parents, Elsie Powell and Floyd Powell; and her brother Gilbert Powell. She is survived by: her husband Denis; her children, Vaughny Toijanen Lillooet (Marco), Rick Yuros Nelson (Caren) and Irene Colcord; her stepson Denis Jr. Prescott Vancouver (Lou); her grandchildren, Marko Jr. Toijanen (Amanda), Bradley Toijanen, Rebecca Noonan Letaya Yuros (Pat), Austin Yuros, Silver Colcord (Iwona) and Darian Colcord; her great grandchildren, Maia, Jacob, Kai, Beau, Aari, Samantha, Keenan and Phoenix; and her siblings, Laurel Powell and Orlo Powell (Diana). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, friends and relatives.

Myrtle's battle with Parkinson's disease was a long hard journey, especially the past two years.
