It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Steel Grant in Merritt, British Columbia, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Candace; and his brother Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his children, Rose (Jody), Sharon (Ted), John Boy (Carmen) and Vince (Donita); his grandchildren, Michael (Kelsey), Theo, Alexis, Emma, Mackenzie (Corbin Marsden), Gregory, Riley, Anna, Emme, Hayden and Hudson; his great grandchildren, Abigail and Logan; his siblings, Margie (Tommy), Sharon, Gertie (Ches), Angus (Marg), Tommy and Blair (Mei); and his friend Bill W. He is also survived by nieces, nephews as well as many friends and relatives.
He quickly made friends even during COVID (who knew it could be that easy).
