“I wasn't aware until fairly recently that Bernice had passed. Bernice was my go to for my various researches with the Bands and with the First Nations etiquette while researching different topics. She taught me a lot about many things and I loved her dearly. Roger had me to do a special drawing for their anniversary a few years ago, so I was able to get a picture of both of them at 4 yrs old. I drew them standing together on the stoop of her childhood home. I miss them both so much.”
