He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis and Elizabeth; his wife Ila Callaghan; his daughter Marilyn Cochrane; and his grandson Garrett Callaghan.
He is survived by: his children, Lucille Mintz (Dale), Robert Callaghan (Heather) and Michael Callaghan (Carol). He is also survived by son-in-law Art Cochrane, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
