She is survived by: her husband Geert; her children, Peter Van Slageren, Jonathan Van Slageren (Christie) and Rosanne Pedersen (Robert); her grandchildren, Daphne and Madelynn; and her siblings, Anna Van Slageren (Dave) and John Rozewicz (Karen).
