Iris Norma (Diercks) Darcus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Norma (Diercks) Darcus (Maple Ridge, British Columbia), who passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Iris Norma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Iris Norma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Iris Norma leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Diercks and Doris Diercks. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Darcus (Ron); her children, Jeannine and Patrick (Laurie); her granddaughter Jettana; and her siblings, Audrey, Eileen (Dave) and Marvin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pitt Meadows United Church (12109 Harris Rd, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y2B6).
