He is survived by: his sisters, Isobel Lucas of Oakville and Betty Mackenzie of Maple Ridge, BC.; his daughter Sydney Ann Wilson; his grandchild Ravyn Wilson of Victoria, BC.; his son Hugh John Gerald Wilson (Alberta) of Fort Saskatchewan; his grandchildren, Serena Boonstra, Hugh Rolf Liam Mackenzie and Ariel Jean Richt Mackenzie; and his great grandchildren, Annalie, Daryn, Westley and Yvaine Boonstra (Serena). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
