He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Manion and Velma Manion; and his brothers, Tommy and Denny. He is survived by: his significant other Debby Cowan; his children, Matthew (Courtney) and Tonya (Matt); his stepchildren, Chris and Alicia (Nick); his grandchildren, Caden, Daxen and Clara; his siblings, Dale (Bob), Roy Jr. (Jan), Joan and Sherry; his grandfather Frank; and his sister-in-law Brenda (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that you honour Daryl's memory by spending time with loved ones, enjoying a round of golf, tending to a garden, or simply sitting in the sun and reflecting on the good times.
