He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen and Allan; his wife Sharon DeWalt; and his children, Dolly (Jeff), Penny (Dave), Bonnie (Wayne), Jimmy (Kris) and Cindy (Marty). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, and up to this date, 25 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Likely Chapel.
