He was predeceased by: his wife Mildie; his son Bob (Bob); his parents, Harry and Vera; and his siblings, Helen, Edward (Ted), Richard (Dick) and Gordon (Chub).

He is survived by: his daughter Donna (Bryan); his brother Chub; his son Doug (Doug); his daughter-in-law Lisa; his grandchildren, David (Shelley), Curtis (Brittani), Colin (Niccolai), Cameron (Rakshana), Steven (Dafne), Karyn (Daniel), Kevin, Alyson (Mark) and Barry (Christina); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Lennon, Sebastian, Brooklyn, Mackenzie and William; and his sister Jean Hope.
