Maureen Devost Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maureen Devost (Langley, British Columbia), who passed away at the age of 98, on March 13, 2025. As we bid adieu to Maureen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Maureen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Purdon and John Arthur Purdon; and her husband Donald J. Devost. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Monique Purdon (Hachey); and her sisters, Ann Rainville of North Bay, ON and Ireland'.

A prayer will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church (20675 87 Ave, Langley Twp, BC V1M3X4). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
