He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlos Melhado and Christina Melhado; his stepparents, Karen and Tyler; his sister Sarah; his stepsiblings, Katarina and Logan; and his grandparents, Carlos Sr., Marta, Wendy and Graham.
