He was predeceased by: his daughter Beverley Ann Gilbert; and his granddaughter Chandra Nadine Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Gilbert (Edna), Donald Gilbert, Maureen Morrell (Kirby) and Janet Olsen. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
