She was predeceased by: her husband Al McCready; and her brothers, Dick, Jack, Otto, Tony, Lawrence, John and Ben.

She is survived by: her children, Virginia Potter (Rod), Renna McCready, Nate McCready (Irene) and Helen McCready Jr.. She is also survived by her 2 sisters (Kay and Rosie); and 2 brothers (Alec and Richie) and many nieces & nephews.
