He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his children, Kevin Smith, Janet Smith (Don), Brenda Marcella Smith, Cyndi VanderHoek (Dan) and Colin Smith (Penny); his grandchildren, Naomi Sheats, Jeff MacPherson (Kendra), Blair MacPherson (Rachelle), Rochelle Randeniya (Randi), Chantelle Randeniya (Ruvinda), Nicole Dehnke (Alex), Dean Dehnke, Sean Watson, Deni Watson, Jody Scott (Graeme), Cody Smith (Kierstin), Kyler Smith (Taylor) and Keyara Smith; his great grandchildren, Keirstin, Keaton, Carter, Shiloh, Serena, Kaliani, Townsley and North; and his close friend Patricia.
He is survived by: his brother Stan Smith (Diane); and also Ida Patton (Eric). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the North Langley Community Church (21015 96 Ave, Langley Twp, BC V1M 2C5).
