She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Jessiman and William Jessiman; her siblings, Allister and Sangster; and her grandson Michael Watts.

She is survived by: her significant other Andrew Thio; her daughter Marlene Thio-Watts; her granddaughter Janet McLean (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jack and Peyton; her son Gordon Thio (Cathy); her grandchildren, Nicole, Carmen and Kelly; and her sister Kay Tingley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
