Daniel Ernest Frederick Mason Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Ernest Frederick Mason (Langley, British Columbia), born in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Dan was a pillar of the community and loved by all who knew him. He ran a successful stair and railing business, Dano's Corner of Oak, until his first stroke left him unable to continue. He struggled hard to keep going with his normal life, but sadly another stroke left him unable to live at home, as he needed 24 hour care. He worked hard at the care home to be able to walk again, and almost made it, till another stroke robbed him of all his progress. This happened several times. He never gave up, and kept trying to get his mobility back. He was so proud when he was finally able to take his scooter out and about, with an attendant. He is missed so much by his wife and best friend, Jane, his son, Steven Lunn, (Maryanne) and his four wonderful grandchildren. He joins his parents, little brother, and a host of friends and family on the other side. I know he will be keeping watch for all of us to join him.
