Though Andreas Carl Josef may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Andreas Carl Josef touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Kristin Batstone (Darren), Elisa McNeill (Bob), Carolyn Gudjonson (Jesse) and Lexie Moore (Bill); his siblings, Eva Rathgeber, Christine Rathgeber and Christopher Rathgeber (Jody); and his in-laws, Rose Hay and Pat Grant (Carrie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking those who feel inclined to donate to the Langley Hospice Society.
