He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan and Pelagia. He is survived by: his son Daniel (Samantha); his significant other Cindy Barber; his sisters, Teresa and Barb; his nephews, Jordan, Nick and Zach; and also Poland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon.
