It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert George Salkeld in Ladysmith, British Columbia, born in Brock, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Salkeld and Laura Salkeld; his wife Jessie; his son Devery; his siblings, Hudson and Evelyn Kowitch; his daughters, Kay Ramsey (Mike) and Linda Tucker (Ron); his daughter-in-law Lorie Salkeld; and his grandchildren, Aaron Ramsey (Hifumi), Shona Creighton, Devin Ramsey (Darcie), Matt Salkeld (Heather), Drayton Salkeld (Leila) and Jessa Peers (Ian). He was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren.
