With solemn reverence, we commemorate Norene Agnes Battie (Ladysmith, British Columbia), born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, whose life came to an end on January 28, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her husband Ron; her parents, Peter Gannon and Agnes Gannon; and her sister Patricia. She is survived by: her children, Kelly (Kyle), Joe (Jill), Pat (Kjerstin), Mike (Joani), John (Tannis) and Mark McGonigle (Diane); and her siblings, Robin and Kerry (Chuck). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1135 4th Ave, Ladysmith, BC V9G1P3).
