He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Bland (Scott) and Walter William Bland; and his brother Graham Scott Bland. He is survived by: his brother Leslie Scott Bland; his children, Christina Eckhart (Steven), Charmaine Smith (Nick) and Ashley Bland; and his grandchildren, Madeline Smith, Georgia Smith, Mason Eckhart and Lexi Eckhart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
