He was predeceased by: his wife Gail Hyde; and his parents, Gerry Hyde and Ann Hyde. He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Boss (Colin), Rob Hyde (Ted), Pat Hyde (Aleisha) and Shane Hyde (Danielle); his stepchildren, Joanne Smith (Glenn) and Mike Smith (Suzanne); his brother Allan Hyde; and his sister-in-law Elaine Harvey. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
