William George Sturdy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William George Sturdy of Kelowna, British Columbia, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his brother Ian Sturdy; his close friends, Ian McCandless and Jean Fraser; and his friends, Francine Gravel and William Knutsen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kelowna Salvation Army in memory of Bill.
