He was predeceased by: his children, Dr. Lois Nahirney (Tom Dielschneider) of North Vancouver, Major Douglas Nahirney (Joanna Nolan) of Ottawa and Dr. Patrick Nahirney of Victoria; his grandchildren, Natalie, Levi, Kailyn, Cairns and Blake; his siblings, Mary, Peter (Leela), Annie and Helen (Leroy); his in-laws, Woody (Barb) and Charles; his parents, Michael Nahirney and Nettie Nahirney; his siblings, Stephen and Oksana; and his sister-in-law Ramona (Gary).
