Susumu Taiji Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susumu Taiji (Kelowna, British Columbia), who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Susumu Taiji to show support.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Toyokichi and Oei Taiji; his wife Bea Taiji; and his siblings, Kiyoji Taiji and Mich Koyama.

He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Caroll), Cheryl, Bruce (Jane), Mitch (Brenda) and Jocelyn (Mike); his grandchildren, Karma (Trevor), Bjorn, Mika (Jonathan), Connor (Jailene), Hana, Riley (Elise), Sian, Nicole, Corrine (Sam), Erin (Rick), Brayden (Shanny) and Mitchell (Marti); his nieces, Janice and Karen Koyama; and his caregivers, Ivan, Cecilia, Deanne, Gail, Bob, Linda, Trinell, Jazz and Freida. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many other nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
