Susan Marie Madigan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Susan Marie Madigan (Kelowna, British Columbia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Brockman and George Brockman; her siblings, Beverly, Fred and Fay; her sister-in-law Lana; and her close friend Carol (Dave).
She is survived by: her siblings, Brian (Kay), Fern Downing (Michael), Tom (Marilyn), Noel (Debbie), Elaine Vecchioni (John), Anita (Steve), Mark (Karmel) and Bob; her children, Scott, Tacey (Paul), Jenn and David (Natalie); her stepchild Gabby (Steve); her children-in-law, Paul and Natalie; her son James; her goddaughter Kathryn; her grandchildren, Shaleigh, Taija (Marcel), Shanelle (Antonio) and Kierra; her great grandchildren, DeVon, Teddy and Oliver; and her niece Kelly.
Mom raised money for all kinds of foundations, including the Cancer Foundation, the very hospice where she passed, the MS Society (I have fond memories of completing several 10km MS Society walks, Mom always made it fun). Mom excelled in fundraising and found great purpose donating her time, contributing her energy and love to so many important causes. In her early 50's Mom published her memoir, and in it wrote of the time our home fell victim to fire, but thankfully, the firefighters managed to save a bag filled with 2000.00 that she helped raise for the Cancer Foundation, back in 1979!!!!
